Pierre-Auguste Renoir Pierre-Auguste Renoir was conceived in 1841 to Marguerite Merlet and Lã ©onard Renoir. In 1844 his family moved to Paris and by 1854, at the youthful age of thirteen, started painting blossoms on porcelain cups and saucers. Through his folks, he started as a painter for the porcelain business; his folks felt this was the ideal beginning for the beginnings of a craftsman. He originated from the town of Limoges, where porcelain turned out to be right around an image of status and riches. By 1860 he had left the porcelain plant for turning into a full time painter; he was conceded consent to duplicate artistic creations in the Lourve where he started to respect the eighteenth century experts. In 1862 he entered the studio of Marc-Gabriel-Charles Gleyre, a Swiss educator who offered guidance to numerous forthcoming craftsmen, where he met such impacts as Claude Monet and Alfred Sisley.
